Plattsburgh female arrested for DWI

On March 18, 2023, Troopers arrested Wanda L. O’Connell, 43 of Plattsburgh, NY for driving while intoxicated, and issued a vehicle and traffic ticket.

On March 17, 2023, State Police members were conducting a DWI Sobriety Check Point located on State Route 22, in the town of Plattsburgh, when the Troopers observed a 2022 gray Hyundai Santa Fe driving on shoulder of the roadway.  The driver was interviewed and identified as O’Connell.  O’Connell was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s.  O’Connell was transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing and recorded a .09% BAC.

O’Connell was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Plattsburgh Court for a later date in April.
