Plattsburgh male arrested for endangering the welfare of a child

PRESS RELEASE

On March 21, 2023, Troopers arrested Nicholas E. Douglas, age 28 of Plattsburgh, NY for endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal mischief.

On March 21, 2023, around 11:48 a.m. Troopers responded to Cross Road in the town of Plattsburgh for a domestic dispute.  An investigation determined Douglas became upset regarding items not working properly.  He became irate and started throwing items breaking numerous items in the household, all while there was a 2-year-old present. 

Douglas was arrested and transported SP Plattsburgh for processing.  He was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and released on his own recognizances.
