On October 4, 2020, at approximately 5:58 p.m., State Police responded to a residence on State Route 9, in the town of Chesterfield for a report of a robbery. 25-year-old Tyler L. Hart of Plattsburgh, broke into a residence, knocked a phone out of one victim’s hand when she tried to contact 911, and then stole a wallet from a second victim.

Hart was charged with Robbery 3rd degree, and Criminal Mischief 4th degree. He was arraigned in the Chesterfield Town Court and remanded to the Essex County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to reappear in the Chesterfield Court on October 7, 2020.
