Pleasant Valley resident arrested for illegally possessing two loaded firearms

On Monday, April 24, 2023, State Police members from SP Poughkeepsie arrested Rodney W. Lewis, age 69, of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2^nd Degree – a class C felony.

On Monday, April 24, 2023, at approximately 1:45 p.m., State Police members executed a warrant at Lewis’ residence, resulting in the seizure of two loaded illegal firearms.

Lewis was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2^nd Degree, arraigned before the town of Pleasant Valley Court, and remanded to Dutchess County Jail.
