Portageville man arrested for Aggravated DWI

PRESS RELEASE

 On May 21, 2023, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Jose L. Hernandez Martinez., 27, of Portageville, NY, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

 

During a traffic stop on Hermitage Road in the town of Orangeville, Hernandez Martinez was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Hernandez Martinez had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition.  Hernandez Martinez had failed standardized field sobriety tests.  Troopers located narcotics inside the vehicle.  He was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.19% BAC.  Hernandez Martinez was released with appearance tickets for the town of Orangeville court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
