PRESS RELEASE
On February 6, 2023, State Police in Pulaski, with the assistance of Troop D Computer Crime Unit (CCU), Homeland Security Investigations, and SP Pulaski BCI arrested John J. Brault, age 58 from Pulaski, NY for (5) counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “D” felony, and (3) counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony.
a search warrant was executed at Brault’s residence on River Street in the village of Pulaski as a result of approximately (9) cyber tips including over 1900 images of child pornography. The warrant was executed without incident and forensic examinations located several files related to the investigation.
