PRESS RELEASE

On December 14, 2022, Troopers arrested Martin Auger, age 36, of St. Jean Sur Richelieu, QC for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

On December 14, 2022, around 6:35 p.m., Troopers responded to the Champlain Port of Entry for to assist the U.S. Customs and Border Protection for a drug possession investigation.  A preliminary investigation revealed a secondary inspection was completed and narcotics were located.  The narcotics were tested by CBP and yielded a positive test for Methamphetamine.  

Auger was arrested and transported to SP Champlain for processing.  He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Champlain Court for a later date in January 2023.
