Queens resident arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

Queens, New York – On Saturday, February 4, 2023 at approximately 8:35 p.m., troopers from SP Rockaways arrested Tyrone A. Valenzuela, age 44, of Queens, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated – an unclassified misdemeanor.

 

The troopers were patrolling the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, operated by Valenzuela, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation revealed Valenzuela to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

 

Valenzuela was issued a desk appearance ticket for Driving While Intoxicated returnable to Queens County Criminal Court on February 24, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
