Queens resident arrested for Driving While Intoxicated on Grand Central Parkway

Queens, New York – On Sunday, February 5, 2023 at approximately 2:00 a.m., troopers from SP Wards Island arrested Julio A. Mallitasig Palacios, age 33, of Queens, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated – an unclassified misdemeanor.

 

The troopers were patrolling near the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Dodge Durango, operated by Mallitasig Palacio, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation revealed Mallitasig Palacio to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

 

Mallitasig Palacio was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and remanded to Queens Central Booking pending arraignment.
