Queens resident arrested for Driving While Intoxicated on Van Wyck Expressway

Queens, New York – On the morning of Friday, February 24, 2023, troopers from SP Wards Island arrested Tengyun Lin, age 26, of Queens, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated – an unclassified misdemeanor.

 

The troopers were patrolling the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a 2022 Ford Fusion, operated by Lin, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation revealed Lin to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

 

Lin was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and remanded to Queens County Central Booking pending arraignment.
