On March 16, 2022, State Police Investigators in Queensbury, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, arrested 24-year-old Zachary Buttling of Queensbury for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E felony).

Buttling is accused of possessing and promoting images consistent with child sexual exploitation. His arrest followed an investigation stemming from a cyber tip received by the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the execution of a search warrant at his residence.

Buttling was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due to return to Queensbury Town Court on March 28, 2022.
