On November 18, 2019, State Police in Queensbury arrested 53-year-old Sanjay Kapoor of Queensbury, for Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), Criminal Mischief 4th degree (A misdemeanor), Criminal Contempt 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), and Reckless Endangerment of Property (B misdemeanor).
On November 13th, State Police responded to a residence in the Town of Northumberland after the homeowner called 911. The resident reported that two dogs had gotten into his pasture and attacked his horses, causing injuries to one of his yearlings.
The owner of the dogs was determined to by Sanjay Kapoor. Kapoor’s dogs were loose in violation of a court order deeming them to be dangerous dogs and requiring them to be contained at all times.
Kapoor was located at his residence and arrested. He was processed at SP Queensbury and issued an appearance ticket for Northumberland Town Court on November 26, 2019 at 5:30 a.m. The dogs are being secured at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
