PRESS RELEASE

On February 14th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested James Olson, 36, of Randolph, for Aggravated Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree.

The Troopers pulled Olson over on I-86 in Randolph for a traffic violation and after failing several SFSTs, Olson was placed under arrest. Olson was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .21. A check of Olson’s driving record revealed that his driving privileges in New York had been revoked for a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years. Olson was then processed, issued tickets and released. Olson is scheduled to appear in the town of Cold Spring Court next month.
