Richfield Springs Man arrested on Rape charges

PRESS RELEASE

 

On April 15, 2020, State Police arrested Joseph A. O’Brien, age 33 from Richfield Springs, NY for Rape 1st degree, a class “B” felony.

O’Brien is charged with engaging in sexual intercourse with a female acquaintance by forcible compulsion on March 2nd in the town of Salisbury, Herkimer County.

O’Brien was arraigned via Skype and was remanded to the Herkimer County Jail on $10,000 bail/bond.
