On May 15, 2022, at approximately 8:25 p.m., the State Police in Rochester working Operation G.I.V.E observed a vehicle in violation of vehicle and traffic law.  Troopers pulled over this vehicle on North Clinton Avenue in the city of Rochester and found occupant, Tireek Burden, age 29, of Rochester, NY in possession of two illegal handguns and drugs.  

Tireek Burden was charged with 2 counts Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, for the handguns, 2 counts Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, for having previous convictions, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, for large capacity ammunition magazine, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, for possessing a stolen firearm, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, for the crack cocaine.

Burden was transported to Monroe County Jail for arraignment on May 16, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
