On Friday at approximately 7:03 p.m., the State Police arrested Theodore Presley III, age 25, from Rochester for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd Degree, Unlawful Fleeing 3rd Degree, and other charges.  Presley was arrested after he refused to stop for State Police for a traffic infraction on North Clinton Avenue.  Presley then attempted to speed away and struck a parked car and another moving vehicle on Clinton Avenue.  Presley then exited the vehicle and ran on foot to avoid troopers.

During the foot chase Presley threw a loaded handgun and was taken into custody by troopers moments later.

Troopers found ammunition in the vehicle he was operating for that specific handgun.

Presley has 3 outstanding warrants from area police agencies, and he was remanded to the Monroe County Jail.
