August 26, 2019 – SP Princetown

Rotterdam woman arrested in for falsifying records to fraudulently obtain $ 8,578.50 in unemployment benefits.

Troopers and Investigators stationed at SP Princetown, in conjunction with the NYS Department of Labor, announce the arrest of a 39-year-old Rotterdam woman for the Class D Felony of Grand Larceny 3rd and the Class E Felonies of Falsifying Business Records 1st and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st.    

Rashida A. Murray was arrested after an investigation revealed that she submitted fraudulent records to the NYS Department of Labor to receive unemployment benefits totaling $8,578.50 which she was not entitled to.
Murray was processed without incident and will appear in Rotterdam Town Court to answer the charges.
