On June 7, 2020, SP Olean Troopers arrested Akyia L Crowe, 34, of Salamanca, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs – Two Prior Convictions Within Ten Years, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, and Circumventing an Interlock Device and Emily G. During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in the town of Great Valley, Troopers determined Crowe had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition, and both parties were in possession of methamphetamine and heroin. Both were then arrested and transported to SP Olean for processing.
Both were arraigned in Cattaraugus County Court, where Crowe was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail without bail and Wilder was released on her own recognizance. Crowe is due to return to that court later this month, and Wilder is due to return in August.
