On September 16, 2020, State Police in Saratoga arrested John M. Stenzel of Saratoga Springs, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years, a class E felony.

Shortly before midnight State Police stopped Stenzel, who was traveling in the Town of Milton.  The Trooper smelled the odor of alcohol while speaking with Stenzel and administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests which showed signs indicative of intoxication.  Stenzel was transported to SP Saratoga where he provided a breath sample of .22% B.A.C, more than twice the legal limit.  Troopers found that Stenzel had a previous DWI conviction within 10 years.  Stenzel was released and is due back in the Town of Milton Court on October 6, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
