On February 20, 2020, State Police in Wilton arrested 35-year-old Kristianna R. Olson Saratoga Springs, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor) and 34-year-old Joseph J. Nocian, also of Saratoga Springs, for Falsifying Business Records 1st degree (E felony) and Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 2nd degree (violation).

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, State Police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on State Route 9N in Greenfield. The trooper could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the car’s interior while interviewing the driver.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed that the driver, Olson, was in possession of quantity of alprazolam, and the passenger, Nocian, was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Nocian provided a false identity to troopers and was issued an appearance ticket for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 2nd in the false name. After further investigation, the trooper was able to determine Nocian’s true identity. He was additionally charged with Falsifying Business Records 1st degree and Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree.

Olson and Nocian were issued appearance tickets for Greenfield Town Court on March 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
