Brunswick Troopers arrested a Schaghticoke man on Tuesday after an investigation in conjunction with Rensselaer County Child Protective Services.  A call was received that the man, Steven Anderson, 41, had assaulted a 13 year-old boy.  An investigation by State Police and CPS revealed that the boy had sustained physical injuries at the hand of Anderson.  Anderson was arrested without incident at SP Brunswick and charged with Assault in the 3rd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Misdemeanors.  He was arraigned in the Town of Schaghticoke Court by Honorable Town Justice Bruce Arnold, and is due to appear back in court at a later date.
