On December 7, 2019, State Police in Princetown arrested 23-year-old Trevon Z. Perez-Tucker of Schenectady, for Driving While Ability Impaired, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Resisting Arrest.
Shortly before midnight on Saturday, State Police stopped to investigate a running vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business on Burdeck Street in Rotterdam. When the Trooper approached the vehicle, he observed that it was occupied by two people.
He observed a passenger in the front seat who was under the age of 17, and was visibly upset. The operator of the vehicle, later identified as Perez-Tucker, told the Trooper that he did not have his driver’s license with him, and refused to identify himself. The Trooper smelled the odor of alcohol coming from Perez-Tucker and asked him to step out of the car, Perez-Tucker refused.
Perez-Tucker was removed from the vehicle with assistance of backup units, and violently resisted being taken into custody. Once he was successfully secured, Perez-Tucker was transported to SP Princetown where he provided a breath sample of .06% B.A.C.
Perez-Tucker was released on an appearance ticket and is due in Rotterdam Town Court on December 19, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
