Schenectady man facing child pornography charges

On March 31, 2021, State Police in Princetown arrested 26-year-old Edmund A. Poole of Schenectady, for Promotion of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class D felony and Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony.

Poole is accused of possessing and promoting images consistent with child sexual exploitation via the internet.  He was arrested after the execution of a search warrant at his residence. 

Poole was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Schenectady City Court on April 14, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
