On August 21, 2019, State Police in Cobleskill arrested 24-year-old- Daniel W. Wetsell of Central Bridge, for Burglary 3rd degree.
On August 18, 2018, Troopers were called to investigate a burglary that occurred in the town of Carlisle. The victim reported to police that an unknown person had forced entry into a barn on their property and stole a four-wheeler, 2 ATVs, a Husqvarna chainsaw, and a mini fridge.
Uniform and BCI members conducted area interviews and processed a palm print that had been left at the scene. The print was submitted to the Troop G Forensic Identification Unit and after examination, was found to belong to Daniel W. Wetsell.
Wetsell was taken into custody and transported to SP Cobleskill for processing. He was arraigned in Carlisle Town Court and remanded to Schoharie County Jail.
