Fultonham man arrested in for falsifying records to unlawfully obtain $3,597 in unemployment benefits.

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) stationed at SP Cobleskill arrested a 46-year-old Fultonham man for the Class D Felony of Grand Larceny 3rd and the Class E Felonies of Falsifying Business Records 1st and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st.    

Sean M. Allen was arrested after a NYS Department of Labor investigation revealed that he submitted falsified records to the NYS Department of Labor to receive unemployment benefits totaling $3,597 which he was not entitled to. 

Allen was processed without incident at SP Cobleskill and will appear in Fulton Town Court on November 26, 2019 to answer the charges.
