Troopers respond to fatal motorcycle crash in Windsor

On June 19, 2020 at approximately 10:29 p.m., New York State Police at Binghamton responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on State Route 79 in the town of Windsor.

On June 8, 2020 at approximately 10:32 p.m., New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Kellie L. Palmateer, age 48 of Richfield Springs for the misdemeanors of Assault in the third degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

State Police to target aggressive driving during “Speed Week” enforcement campaign

The New York State Police will target speeding and aggressive drivers during a special weeklong traffic enforcement initiative. This year’s "Speed Week" enforcement campaign starts Thursday, June 11, 2020 and runs through Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Troopers will also actively patrol highway work zones and will target drivers who violate New York’s "Move Over" Law.
