PRESS RELEASE

On Tuesday August 18, Steuben County 911 dispatched the New York State Police to the Walmart located in the Town of Erwin for the report of a larceny in progress. The Walmart Loss prevention worker told police that she had witnessed Sarah Casselbury, age 33 of Woodhull steal merchandise and walk past the registers. Casselbury who was with her son, was arrested for Petit Larceny for stealing $214.68 worth of merchandise and issued an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Erwin court at a later date. The stolen property was returned to Walmart.
