Snow squalls leading to poor travel conditions on the NYS Thruway in Oneida County

State Police and tow truck operators are working to clear a number of separate property damage motor vehicle crashes on the New York Thruway in both directions between Exits 31 and 32 in Oneida County. Snow squalls in the area have resulted in near white out conditions and poor visibility. 

The Thruway is open, but removal of the crashed vehicles is leading to sporadic lane closures and travel delays. State Police is advising motorists to avoid the area at this time.
