On September 28, 2019, Troopers out of SP Williamson arrested Steward W. O’Connell, 49, of Sodus, New York for felony driving while intoxicated (previous conviction within ten years), operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, possession of an open container, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, improper signal, inadequate exhaust system and an interior mirror violation.

O’Connell was stopped on State Route 104 in the Town of Williamson for an interior mirror violation, inadequate exhaust and using an improper signal.  He was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests.  O’Connell was transported to SP Williamson where he provided a breath sample of .12% BAC.  He was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Williamson Court on November 6, 2019.
