On December 30, 2020, State Police in North Syracuse arrested 36-year-old Christopher M. Parry, from Solvay, NY,  as a fugitive from justice after Troopers were contacted by the Las Vegas Violent Crime/Fugitive Task Force Criminal Apprehension Team. 

Parry, a convicted sex offender in Nevada, had fled the state during his parole.  He had been convicted of Sexually Motivated Coercion and Child Abuse and Neglect.

The New York State Police was assisted by the Solvay Police Department and the FBI Mid State Child Exploitation Task Force.  Parry was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center, awaiting his extradition back to Nevada.
