PRESS RELEASE
 
On May 24th, 2022, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Wade Pfleuger, 41, of South Dayton, for Driving while Ability Impaired by Drugs and Resisting Arrest.
 
The Troopers pulled Pfleuger over for committing traffic violations on Route 60 in Gerry. Pfleuger displayed multiple signs of drug impairment and the troopers attempted to place him under arrest after failing SFSTs. Pfleuger attempted to walk away from the scene and then physically resisted being handcuffed by the Troopers. Pfleuger was taken into custody after a brief struggle, transported to SP Jamestown whetre he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Regognition Expert, and determined to be impaired by drugs. Pfleuger provided a blood sample at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown, was transported back to SP Jamestown, and processed. Pfleuger was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court next month.
