On September 11, 2019, State Police in Queensbury arrested 34-year-old Leon J. Trombley of South Glens Falls, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree ( A misedemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 2nd degree ( violation).
On Wednesday evening, State Police stopped a vehicle on Indiana Ave. in Queensbury after the operator was observed to have commited a traffic infraction.
When the Trooper spoke to the occupants of the vehicle, he observed two open bottles of alcohol at the feet a rear seat passenger, Leon Trombley. When the Trooper asked Trombley out of the car he could smell marijuana and a search was conducted. Trombley was found in possession of a quanity of marijuana as well as 16 small glassine bags containing a substance believed to be heroin.
Trombley was taken into custody and tranported to SP Queenbury for processing. He was released on an appearance ticket and is due in Queenbury Town Court on September 23, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
