Clarkstown, NY – On May 1, 2022, at approximately 4:30 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Clarkstown for several vehicle and traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Kristina Khan, 23, of Spring Valley, NY, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with her 3-year-old child.  Khan was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown.   The child was turned over to a relative.   

Khan’s blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.15% and was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child in the Vehicle; a Class E Felony.  She was turned over to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on May 30, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
