Update: Livingston, New York - On January 4, 2022, the New York State Police arrested Skyler M. Morrell, age 23, of Bayville, NJ, for Assault in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, Menacing in the 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, both class A misdemeanors.
 
Investigation determined during a verbal domestic incident Morrell stabbed the victim in the hand.
 
Morrell was arraigned before the town of Livingston Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1000 bond.
 
This investigation remains ongoing.

Livingston, New York – On January 4, 2022, the New York State Police responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 8:23 a.m. on Bells Pond Road in the town of Livingston.

Investigation determined the incident was a domestic dispute between two people with one having suffered a stab wound to a hand.  The subject stabbed was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, and the second subject was transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

This investigation remains ongoing and will be updated as new information becomes available.
