Stae Police in Auburn arrest a Port Byron resident for Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

PRESS RELEASE
 

On Sunday, October 16, 2022, troopers from SP Auburn responded to a shots fired complaint on Aldrich Road in the town of Conquest.  Troopers identified the individual responsible for firing shots as, Walter D. Silensky, age 55, of Port Byron.  Silensky was subsequently arrested for Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  

Silensky was transported to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.
