On May 20, 2022, the New York State Police stopped a motorist for a violation on East Main Street in the city of Rochester.  Troopers arrested a 17 year old, who was in possession of defaced . 380 caliber pistol loaded with 6 live rounds.

The teen was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, (defaced firearm).

 The teen was taken to Monroe County Youth Part Court for arraignment.
