On November 20, 2022, State Police arrested Norman Mccall, 56, of Albany, NY, on a warrant for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Possession of a Forged Instrument in the First Degree, two Counts of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and two counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree.

On July 18, 2022, State Police received a complaint that on July 15, 2022, money had been stolen from the Complainant’s business account by utilizing multiple fraudulent checks. The investigation determined Mccall cashed multiple forged checks at different banks resulting in the theft of over $12,000.  

Mccall was located with the assistance of the Albany Police Department on November 20, 2022, and transported to SP Latham for processing. He was arraigned at the Colonie Town Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
