On September 8, 2020, State Police arrested Wen M. Lu, age 55, of Albany, NY on one count of Grand Larceny 2nd degree, a class C felony.

An investigation determined that Lu collected more than $100,000 in rent checks meant for a Saratoga County business and deposited them into a bank account under a business name she created in order to hide the thefts. Investigators discovered that Lu was using the money to pay for personal expenses.

Lu was virtually arraigned in Saratoga Springs city court and released on her own recognizance. She’s due back in court on October 1, 2020.
