State Police arrest an individual for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, (Previous Conviction).

On July 21, 2022, the State Police arrested Charles J. Gibson, age 32, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, (Previous Conviction).

State Police conducted a traffic stop of a motorist traveling on North Clinton Avenue and was driving with a suspended NY identification only.  Gibson was riding as a passenger, and also, did not have a valid license.  Subsequent to determining there was no valid operator the troopers located a loaded .380 caliber handgun with 6 live rounds. 

Gibson was taken to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment.

The driver was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets and released.
