New York State Police in Williamson, NY report the arrest of a Wayne County man after receiving several complaints from area residents who reported being defrauded out of money after hiring a snow plowing contractor.  Chad A. Brockman, 39, of Ontario, NY, was charged with numerous counts of Scheme to Defraud 1st Degree (E felony), Scheme to Defraud 2nd Degree (A misdemeanor), and Petit Larceny (A misdemeanor).  It is alleged that Brockman contracted with various area residents to complete snow plowing services for the winter season, and took payments for these services upfront, but failed to render the services that were paid for.  Troopers reported receiving approximately twenty complaints of this nature with the total financial loss amounting to several thousand dollars.  Brockman was processed at the Williamson barracks and issued appearance tickets returnable to various local courts in Wayne County at later dates and times.
