State Police arrest Clifton Park man on weapon charges following a domestic dispute

On February 19, 2023, State Police of Clifton Park arrested Frank P. Dibenedetto Jr., 28, of Clifton Park, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, Menacing in the Second Degree, Menacing in the Third Degree, and Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree.

On February 16, 2023, at about 4:24 p.m., Troopers responded to a home in Clifton Park for the reports of a domestic dispute. The investigation determined Dibenedetto Jr. wielded a bat while confronting multiple people at the location.  He also attempted to strike a victim with the bat and with his vehicle before fleeing the location. He was gone before the Troopers arrived. No one was injured during the incident.

Dibenedetto Jr. was located and arrested in Malta, NY, before being transported to SP Clifton Park for processing. He was arraigned at the Clifton Park Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
