On October 1, 2022, State Police in Wilton arrested Matthew S. Kingsley, 52, of Corinth, NY, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and other vehicle and Traffic Laws violations.  

On October 1, 2022, at about 7:27 p.m., Troopers responded to the area of Stark Road in Corinth, NY, for the reports of a two-car crash. The investigation determined a vehicle was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway and occupied by two people.  Kingsley struck the vehicle head-on and then left the scene.  Kingsley and his vehicle were located a short time later, at which time Kingsley stated he was the operator at the time of the crash. Kingsley was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He has a previous DWI conviction in the past ten years. No one was injured in the crash.

Kingsley was transported to SP Wilton for processing, where he recorded a 0.19% BAC. He was issued tickets returnable to the Corinth Town Court on October 18, 2022, and released to a sober party.
