State Police arrest four as a result of a drug investigation

On March 15, 2023, State Police of Queensbury arrested the following individuals as a result of an ongoing drug investigation. 

Craig A. Webster, 38, of Queensbury, for:

• Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class “B” felony
• Two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class “B” felony
• Two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor

Daniel V. Cardoso, 38, of Queensbury, NY For:

• Tampering with Physical Evidence, a class “E” felony 
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor

Samantha L. Fournier, 41, of Queensbury, NY, for:

• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a class “D” felony

Daniel L. Larock, 48, of Hartford, NY, for: 

• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor 

On March 15, 2023, Troopers were observing the area of the Super 8 Motel in Queensbury, NY, due to suspicious activity. Troopers observed multiple vehicles enter the location and exit the motel after a brief interaction with Webster. A traffic stop was conducted of the first vehicle on Corinth Road in Queensbury, NY, after Troopers observed a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Cardoso. Cardoso was discovered to possess a controlled substance and, during the stop, tried to destroy the evidence. The second vehicle was stopped in the area of Aviation Road in Queensbury, NY, after Troopers observed a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.  Passengers in the vehicle were identified as Larock and Fournier. Both were found to possess controlled substances.   

The investigation determined Webster had sold the three suspects the controlled substances during the observed interactions.  Webster was arrested at the motel, where additional felony weight narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered. 

All suspects were transported to SP Queensbury for processing.  Webster was arraigned at the Queensbury Town Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility without bail.  Cardoso, Larock, and Fournier were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Queensbury Town Court on March 27, 2023, and released.
