State Police arrest Fultonville man in child pornography investigation

On March 15, 2023, State Police of Fonda, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, arrested Shadrach L. Geisler, 45, of Fultonville, NY, for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class "D" felony and Criminal Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class "E" felony.

Geisler is accused of possessing and promoting images consistent with child sexual exploitation. His arrest followed an investigation and the execution of a search warrant on his home in Fultonville, NY, on March 15, 2023. The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

Geisler was processed at SP Fonda, arraigned at the Glen Town Court, and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail, a $100,000 bond, or a $200,000 partially secured bond.
