State Police arrest Greenfield man for Grand Larceny

On January 26, 2023, State Police of Wilton arrested Edward W. Dano, 56, of Greenfield, on a warrant for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. 

On August 23, 2022, at about 3:36 p.m., Trooper received a complaint that money had been stolen from a victim’s bank account earlier that month. The investigation determined Dano used the victim’s bank card without the victim’s permission at multiple ATMs to withdraw over $1,000 and kept the money. 

Dano was arrested by State Police in Troop K following an investigation into an unrelated matter.  He was transported to SP Wilton for processing. He was arraigned at the Lake Luzerne Town Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility without bail.
