State Police arrest Greenport woman for Grand Larceny, Forgery and Scheme to Defraud

On May 19, 2023, Theresa Frederick, 56 of Greenport, NY was arrested for Scheme to Defraud, 2^nd Degree an A - Misdemeanor, Grand Larceny 4^th Degree an E – Felony, and Forgery 3^rd Degree an A – Misdemeanor.  Frederick allegedly sold a Pomeranian Puppy and forged documents regarding the health and vaccinations.  The State Police have reason to believe there may be other victims and if you feel you have been a victim, please call (518) 851-2893 (non-emergency number).  The State Police is also asking people to stay vigilant when making any type of transaction or purchases online.
