On April 24, 2022, at approximately 4:53 p.m., State Police out of Horseheads conducted a traffic stop of a motorist for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations, on Fairport Lane, in the Village of Horseheads. The operator was identified as Scott D. Cambra, age 62, from Horseheads.  While interviewing Cambra, the trooper detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Cambra along with other signs of intoxication. Cambra submitted to Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, subsequently failing them. 

Cambra was transported back to SP Horseheads where he submitted to a breath test, that had a reported value of .13% BAC.  Cambra was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, and was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Horseheads Court on May 18, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.
