State Police arrest Juvenile who led them on a pursuit.

On January 16, 2023, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the State Police attempted to stop an operator of a reported stolen vehicle in the city of Rochester.  The operator of that vehicle refused to comply and led troopers on a brief pursuit until crashing on Avenue A near Gladys Street.

The operator, a 15 year old juvenile, was taken into custody without incident. 

The Juvenile was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree, Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, and Possession of Burglar’s Tools.

There were no reported injuries from the crash, and the juvenile was issued a ticket to appear in Family Court.
