On December 25th, 2022, State Poilice in Canandaigua arrested 25 year-old Matthew J. Beck Jr., of Manchester NY, for Rape 1st Degree, (Class B Felony) subsequent to a sexual assault on a physically helpless woman which occurred in the village of Manchester.

    Beck Jr. was processed at SP Canandaigua barracks and remanded to Ontario County Jail, in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, after centralized arraignment.
