State Police arrest a motorist on drug and weapons charges after traffic stop.

On Monday, October 10, 2022, troopers from SP Auburn observed a suspicious vehicle on Venice Road in the town of Genoa.  Derek A. Beckwith, age 33, of Little York, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance not in an Original Container, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.

He was transported to the Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.
